In this award process, you do not compete against other organizations. Instead, you match up your organization’s strategic plan and performance with an extensive set of criteria. The process is available for the following types of organizations: business, education, healthcare, and non-profit. The organization can be large or small.

A typical route is to apply for the Texas Award for Performance Excellence and then apply for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. However, your organization can apply directly for the national award.
